Live music, museums and family attractions in Nashville, TN and Memphis, TN for day trips for family and things to do with children at Discovery Park.

“The Soundtrack of America: Made in Tennessee.” That is the tagline for the state of Tennessee to pique the interest of travelers wanting a taste of Tennessee culture. Tennessee is a beautiful state with mountains, flatlands, and serene scenery, but it is well-known for the music. Nashville, TN is Music City. Memphis, TN is Home of the Blues. There is music in almost every place you may stop to visit if you are traveling through Tennessee. But when you hear about a place like Discovery Park of America, you may not immediately think about all the music events and concerts we have in the charming small town of Union City. Well, friends, think again. Discovery Park of America is the perfect venue for concerts and music events. In fact, we have over 60 different ones that have been booked for 2016.
We get it. Music shapes us into the people we are today in some way, shape or form. It makes us feel. It makes us cry, laugh, smile, and even bring back memories, good or bad. Discovery Park embraces this music culture by having artists perform at Libation Station, Southern Nights concerts, Singer-Songwriter Night, and more. If you, your spouse, family or friends are music lovers, then we encourage you to not only visit Discovery Park of America during operating hours, but stick around for the night life of live music, concerts and entertainment.

Guests can walk through the train to buy their choice of drink, whether it is wine or a specialty drink from the train bar, such as a “Whistle Blower” or “The Locomotive.” Most nights, you can listen to live music by local artists and enjoy the nice summer breeze as you wind down for the evening.
