At Discovery Park of America, we’re proud that our mission includes providing support for teachers and administrators in taking STEAM teaching out of the classroom and lab and applying it in a hands-on, state-of-the-art experience.
By contributing to an interdisciplinary and applied approach, integrated into cohesive learning programs, we are helping teachers ignite and inspire the next generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators.
We have many existing classes and programs designed to meet State STEAM Standards, or we’re happy to help you coordinate something unique for your students.
Thanks to the Kirkland Scholarship, students from all K-12 schools with 75% of the students qualifying for free or reduced lunches qualify for scholarships that pay for *100% of the ticket price to visit Discovery Park of America.
*Scholarships do not cover transportation, meals or special attractions and temporary exhibits. The education team will work with you on those as they develop your visit plan.
You will be required to email proof of your FRL percentage to email@example.com.
Discovery Park of America also offers additional education programs that have been designed to meet the latest Tennessee state standards. View our 2019-2020 field trip catalog.
