April 14 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Event Navigation

The mission of Discovery Park of America is to inspire children and adults to see beyond.

At Discovery Park of America, we have great educational programs for all ages! Our most popular programs involve all kinds of animals we have on display here at Discovery Park, as well as some that are brought in by other wildlife educators! Our wildlife department has animal programs throughout the year, including weekly fish feedings, snake feedings and turtle touching! Just ask about those when you visit since the times and days vary!

On Sun., April 14, the wildlife program is the popular “Birds of Prey,” presented by Reelfoot Lake State Park. Wildlife educators handle the different kinds of birds for guests to have an up-close encounter. Get “beak-to-beak” with a bald eagle, a red-tailed hawk and even a barred owl. Stop by and see these birds of prey anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Dinosaur Hall.

All wildlife programs are free with your park admission or DPA membership. Become a member today to take advantage of unlimited access to the park, unlimited access to most education programs and more! Join today by calling 731-885-5455 or stopping by the front ticket counter. Membership Perks
