Join us for a special Earth Day celebration at Discovery Park on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 as we come together to honor the natural world and promote environmental awareness.

All events that aren’t in a designated area will take place at the Farm Credit Mid-America pavilion and greenhouses.

USDA
Representatives from USDA will offer fun short lessons about soybeans every 30 minutes from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Discovery Fossil Pit
Available for digging every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
1 p.m. Seed Tree Ornaments at Farm Credit Mid-America Pavilion
Guests can make seed tree ornaments with Discovery Park’s lead education specialist, Erik Uselton.

Making pinecone bird feeders with Discovery Park program specialist, Lori Inciong.
Art Hall from 12-3 p.m.
Students from the UT-Martin Eta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Epsilon, an Earth science honor society, will showcase various scientific research studies they have conducted.
1 p.m.
The Obion County Reading Railroad program will be presenting activities, crafts and a special storytime relating to recycling.
All Day Planting throughout the park on both days
