National Ag Day is held by The Agriculture Council of America (ACA) and is an event dedicated to increasing public awareness of agriculture’s vital role in society. National Ag Day began in 1973.

Everything we eat, use or wear every day is provided by agriculture. Learn more about the importance of agriculture in our world today at Discovery Park’s National Ag Day celebration on Tuesday, March 18. On Ag Day, guests can explore the world of agriculture through various interactive experiences. 

Last year’s Ag Day was the first to feature interactive activities in our Farm Credit Mid-America Greenhouses.

Agriculture-related businesses and organizations will have booths with information, hands-on activities and giveaways for our guests to enjoy and learn from. The vendors and booths will include:
