Tyler Goodson of Henderson. Tennessee embarked on his musical journey after graduating and making his way to Jackson. Immersed in the vibrant music scene, he found his home at Bandstand, where his passion for blues and other old-school styles of music flourished.
Since 2006, Goodson has been a familiar face on stages across the area, captivating audiences with his soulful performances. As he continues to share his gift with audiences far and wide, his dedication to his craft and his love for the music that fuels his soul remains unwavering. The Ghost Town Blues Band formed in 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee, and have released five albums, including one live recording. Their 2019 album, Shine, reached number one on the US Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart. They have opened for the Steve Miller Band, Johnny Lang, John Lee Hooker Jr and Booker T. Jones.
“Living Blues” magazine stated” Ghost Town Blues Band shows what can happen when the past is distilled through young sensibilities, voices, and instruments. This is 21st-century blues at its best.” The six-piece band uses an unusual array of musical instruments, including organs, cigar box guitars, harmonicas, electric push brooms, plus brass and percussion.

Join us for another night of good vibes and the sweet, soulful sounds of blues on Friday, June 21. Both acts performing on week six of Rhythm on the Rails have been fan favorites at the summer concert series before. It was only right to bring them back.
Tyler Goodson is sure to start the evening off on the right note. Then, get ready to tap your toes and sing along as the Ghost Town Blues Band brings the house down.
Hamburgers, hot dogs and other snacks will be available nightly.
A cash bar will also be available serving up delicious drinks to quench your thirst on a warm summer evening.
Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs and fishing gear. The gate near the Train Depot will open at 5:00 p.m., and music will begin at 6 p.m.
