John Clayton White

John Clayton White, a 13-year-old blues guitar prodigy, started playing at an early age and quickly developed a passion for the electric guitar. He formed John Clayton White & The 662 Band in 2021, performing across the Deep South. In 2023, he played at the grand reopening of Club Ebony alongside Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. John Clayton and his band won first place in the 2024 Mississippi Delta Blues Society’s regional International Blues Challenge and will compete in the 2025 International Blues Challenge. He also joined blues legends on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise in 2024.

Lew Jetton & 61 South

61south is a premier Americana party band in the Midwest and Midsouth, known for its mix of originals played on XM/Sirius Radio and hits from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, ZZ Top, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Jelly Roll and more. Lew Jetton’s solo acoustic shows also draw from a wide catalog of favorites from Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen to John Prine, Paul Thorn, Tom Petty and more.

The Rhythm on the Rails 2025 summer concert series wraps up with an evening full of rhythm and blues.

The night will begin with 13-year-old blues prodigy John Clayton White, followed by Lew Jetton & 61 South. Their performance will feature a mix of radio-hit originals and fan-favorite covers, ranging from Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton to ZZ Top.

Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs and  fishing gear. The gate near the Train Depot will open at 5:00 p.m., and music will begin at 7 p.m.

“Rhythm on the Rails” is funded in part by a grant contract with the state of Tennessee,Tennessee Arts Commission. The mission of the Tennessee Arts Commission is to stimulate and encourage the presentation of the visual, literary, musical and performing arts and to encourage public interest in the cultural heritage of Tennessee.
