STEAM Saturdays are back at Discovery Park of America. On the last Saturday of each month, the Tennessee Room will be transformed into a hub of activities, games and fun revolving around engineering, science and technology.

Join us in the Tennessee Room on Saturday, July 27 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. For July’s STEAM Saturday, guests will explore the science of bridges through a variety of hands-on experiences.

These will include handmaking bridges using everyday materials or advanced materials including:

• Straws
• Paper
• String
• LEGO bricks
• K’nex
• Engino Bridge sets

Challenge yourself to build a bridge that is pleasing to look at and strong enough to withstand weight. Bridges made using everyday items can be taken home by their builder.
