We are hosting World Turtle Day® virtually online on our Facebook page and YouTube channel! It will be available to watch on May 23, 2020 at 10 a.m.
What better way to “shellebrate” World Turtle Day® than by discovering how these animals survive in their natural habitats! Make your way through the different stations set-up throughout the park and discover everything from Native American myths and legends to special shell adaptations.

Here are some topics that will be discussed in the video that will be posted on May 23, 2020 at 10 a.m.
- Turtle Takeout: Lindsey will share with you what kind of food turtles like to eat. You may find some things tasty!
- Kid’s Create: Andrew will teach you how to make your own turtle-shaped piggy bank. You can use this craft to save money to help wild turtles.
- Turtle Anatomy: Lindsey closes out the video by teaching you about the anatomy of a turtle. Download a turtle anatomy activity sheet and fill it out while you watch!
