“Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects: Made with LEGO® Bricks” Exhibit
A series of sculptures built with more than 250,000 LEGO® bricks will be on display throughout Discovery Park’s 50 acres from Friday, May 3 to Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 with the award-winning traveling exhibition, “Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® Bricks.”
Featuring works created by artist Sean Kenney, “Nature Connects” presents 19 displays of sculptures made from LEGO® bricks that were specially curated to enhance a visit to Discovery Park. Included in the collection is a monarch butterfly built with 60,500 LEGO® bricks that took 377 hours to build, a life-sized gardener built with 37,400 LEGO® bricks that took 320 hours to build and various giant plants, animals and insects. An educator guide for the exhibit is available online for parents or educators who would like to provide lessons before or after experiencing the exhibit. LEGO® Camp
LEGO® Camp is for six-year-old through 12-year-old students. Register your child for a week-long adventure that immerses them in a world of creativity, learning and fun as they embark on a brick-building adventure like no other. Discovery Park’s LEGO® camp is designed to spark the imagination of young builders, fostering teamwork, problem-solving and innovation through the timeless joy of LEGO® bricks.
The week-long camp dates are:
- June 17-21
- July 15-19
- July 22- 26

Bricks and Sips: Adult LEGO Night
Unleash your inner child at Discovery Park of America’s exclusive adult LEGO®-themed night on Saturday, July 27. Join us for an evening of nostalgia and fun as you indulge in building blocks, beverages and bites. This event is for guests ages 21 and older.
Reconnect with your favorite childhood pastime, all while enjoying the company of fellow LEGO® enthusiasts. Build towering skyscrapers and intricate structures or let your imagination run wild with our collection of LEGO® bricks.
But that’s not all – sip on handcrafted cocktails, savor delectable bites and mingle with like-minded individuals who share your passion for LEGO®. Whether you’re a seasoned LEGO® master or a novice builder, there’s something for everyone at our adults-only LEGO® night.

Adventure Begins at Your Library: LEGO® Competition 2024
Discovery Park of America and the Obion River Regional Library Center have partnered to present the 2024 LEGO® Competition. It runs from August through November with each month introducing a new theme. Participants submit entries to their local libraries within the Obion River region where one winner is selected from each category. The winners from each library are judged by Discovery Park of America and then displayed at the museum until the next theme is submitted. All winners receive a one-year family membership to the museum and heritage park.
