Discovery Park kicks off the 2024 “Let it Glow” Walk-thru and Drive-thru on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024

Union City, Tenn. —Discovery Park of America will open the 2024 “Let it Glow” walk-thru and drive-thru on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. The event will include a special ceremony featuring a performance of holiday favorites by internationally acclaimed soprano Sabrina Warren, an ensemble from the Jackson Symphony, the Voices of Union City Elementary student choir and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Opening night of the “Let It Glow” walk-thru and drive-thru will be free for Discovery Park members. Admission to the walk-thru is $5 for all other guests with ages three and under admitted free. Admission to the “Let It Glow” drive-thru is $10 per vehicle, but will also be free for members on November 15 only.
In addition to their appearance at the kick-off, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the “Let It Glow” walk-thru and available for photos with guests on several select dates throughout the holiday season. Those dates can be found at discoveryparkofamerica.com/letitglow.
The expanded 2024 “Let it Glow” walk-thru will feature many new decorations including a recently constructed arbor at the entrance that will be lit with thousands of lights. Festive treats and beverages and local handmade gifts will be available for purchase. The “Let It Glow” drive-thru will once again feature more than a million lights allowing guests to get a unique look at the 199-foot-tall Discovery Center, the settlement of log cabins and more, all decorated for the holidays.
Discovery Park is also the venue for many holiday parties in 2024. “Our party planners are hard at work creating the perfect holiday experience for groups of all sizes,” said Lauren Jones, director of special events for Discovery Park. “This year, we’ve also made it easy to share the magical experience of “Let It Glow” with your customers, staff, friends or family members with gift vouchers that are available at a discounted rate for 50 or more.”

The 2024 “Let It Glow” drive-thru and walk-thru light show is sponsored by McDonald’s and ATA.
Both the “Let It Glow” Drive-thru and Walk-thru are open 5-9 p.m. from Friday, Nov. 15-Friday, Dec. 30, 2024, and closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
