Michael Larkin appointed director of education and museum experience at Discovery Park

(Union City, Tennessee, Dec. 19, 2023) – Discovery Park of America is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Larkin as the new director of education and museum experience. In this role, Larkin will lead the strategic vision and oversee the implementation of the museum and heritage park’s education initiatives aimed at a regional audience.
Larkin has been an integral part of the Discovery Park team since being hired in 2020, most recently serving as docent manager. Larkin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and still works with students, parents and instructors at Huntingdon High School in the music program.
