Robert and Jenny Kirkland cut the ribbon to open Discovery Park on November 1, 2013, but the work began years before. As part of the 10th birthday celebration, a group of early volunteers gathered at Discovery Park recently to share their memories of shaping the vision of the museum and park that is unlike anything else in the world.
