Homeschool Day will be Thurs., Feb. 16, 2023 for all children grades 1-12. It’s a great day to bring your homeschool students to explore the museum and park with other students, or take advantage of one of our special classes that day. This month’s theme is Black History Month.
Music History: Jazz
History: Life on the Mississippi
Science: Great Inventors, Great Inventions
Homeschool Day Programming is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Classes will begin promptly at 1 p.m. so please make plans to arrive no later than 12:45 p.m.
Our Homeschool Day consists of five subject areas – History, Science, Music and Art, Wildlife, and Agriculture, which is offered on a regular rotation. All grades will experience all subjects.
We offer three age groups:
- Grades 1-4 (Elementary)
- Grades 5-8 (Middle School)
- Grades 9-12 (High School)
The cost is $6 per student and $15.95 for each nonmember.
