All are welcome to join us to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day at Discovery Park of America on Saturday, Aug. 26. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the culture, history and traditions of Ukraine.

1 p.m. Program in Dino Hall:

Ukrainian National Anthem performed on the violin by Amanda Mayo.

Welcome remarks by Olha Burak, a Ukrainian citizen and Discovery Park of America employee.

Traditional Ukrainian music will be performed on the violin by Amanda Mayo.

Keynote address by Kostantin Kostanyan, a Ukrainian citizen and co-owner of Bizinka Bakery in Union City.

Followed by more traditional Ukrainian music performed on the violin by Amanda Mayo.

2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Tennessee Room:

Refreshments and wooden spoon painting activity.
