Step into a world of imagination during Storybook Stroll, where young readers and their families can celebrate the joy of storytelling in a fun, interactive environment. In partnership with the Obion River Regional Libraries, this event transforms Dinosaur Hall into a vibrant hub of literacy-focused activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
Guests will explore booths hosted by libraries from across Northwest Tennessee, each offering hands-on activities that encourage children to engage with stories in new and exciting ways. This year’s theme, “Unearth a Story,” invites participants to dig into the world of books through imaginative play, interactive storytelling and connections with local library resources.
You will discover:
- Interactive literacy activities inspired by the “Unearth a Story” theme
- Opportunities to connect with local libraries and their programs
- Creative ways to spark a love of reading in young learners
- Resources and support for continued learning through summer reading programs

Storybook Stroll is part of Discovery Park of America’s educational programming that promotes literacy and lifelong learning by partnering with community organizations to make reading engaging and accessible for all ages.
Children enrolled in a participating library’s summer reading program may receive free admission with a ticket provided by their local library. The ticket admits the participant and their immediate family. Discovery Park does not distribute tickets.
No admission is allowed after 11:45 a.m.
