Jun 28th @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

In partnership with the Tennessee State Museum, Discovery Park will host a professional development class on Friday, June 28.

Discover the remarkable tools that shaped the history of Tennessee. We will be analyzing tools used from the prehistoric period up through statehood to learn how people lived and thrived in Tennessee. (And yes, you will get to touch actual artifacts.)

Highlights include:

  • Actual 3D objects that you can analyze and explore.
  • STEAM and ELA connections as we explore the function and design of various tools.
  • Ready to use materials and activities to take back to your classroom.
