Thanks To You
As the leadership team of Discovery Park of America, we are grateful for the generous support of our donors, partners, members and volunteers who made our work possible this year. Your commitment ensured that Discovery Park remained a place of learning, connection and inspiration for our community and the region we serve.
In 2025, Discovery Park continued to grow in both reach and impact. Visitation increased, earned revenue strengthened and signature experiences delivered record engagement.
Thousands of students and families gained access through scholarships and access programs, reinforcing our commitment to educational equity. At the same time, we advanced critical work in facilities, collections care and infrastructure, including the completion of the restoration of historic steam locomotive No. 1149, preserving an important piece of our shared history for future generations.
What unites these accomplishments is a shared belief in the power of discovery to shape lives. Discovery Park is more than a museum or destination; it is a community asset dedicated to lifelong learning, cultural understanding and economic vitality. As we look ahead to 2026—with America 250 programming, new exhibitions and expanded partnerships—we do so with confidence and gratitude.
Thank you for standing with Discovery Park of America and for helping us continue to inspire children and adults to see beyond.

Looking Ahead in 2026
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Discovery Park is preparing to connect past,
present and future through meaningful experiences.
America 250
America 250 programming and partnerships will serve as the cornerstone of the year, positioning Discovery Park as a leading destination for interpreting Tennessee’s role in the nation’s founding and frontier history.
The year will also include a major America 250 celebration on July 3 and 4 featuring a concert by GMA Dove Award-winning artist Mo Pitney and hands-on activities throughout the museum and park that invite visitors of all ages to reflect on 250 years of American independence.
“ I look forward to celebrating this important milestone with my friends at Discovery Park.
– Mo Pitney
